M&M or Chocolate Chip Cookies
We started making these cookies when Daniel was about 10 years old. He actually loves to have them with mini m&m’s, but sometimes those are hard to find so chocolate chips are great to. The girls have followed in his footsteps and love to bite into these tasty cookies.
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 – 12oz pkg mini m&m’s or chocolate chips
Preheat oven 350~. In large bowl cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda and salt and blend well. Stir in m&m’s or chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-13 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
